Christmas Eve in the Burrows

Here's a lil piece of the poem that narrates this comic:

Twas Christmas Eve night

In a forest covered in white.

Dashing through the snow, light on her lil foot paws

Went Stacy the Stoat dressed as Santa Claus.

Beneath a tree in a burrow so deep

Were hedgehogs not ready for sleep.

The children hung stockings by the door

While the parents brought out cookies, milk and more.

Soon they snuggled in a blanket to keep away a shiver

All to prepare for the arrival of a jolly giver.

Much to their happiness and shock

The family heard a thump and a knock.

“He’s here early. Come in, Kris Kringle,”

they cheered, followed by a laugh and jingle.

“Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas to all in this burrow!

Santa’s helper hasn’t forgotten you for I am quite thorough.

All of you have been fattene- I mean, good this year,

so to this goodie sack, come near.”
